Title: Model 9A inlet cam follower
Post by: billhaworth@aol.com on June 23, 2024, 07:49:16 AM
I am re-assembling a 1934/5 Model 9A from several boxes of parts. It seems like the inlet cam follower I have is for a sidevalve engine (flat top, no pushrod cup) and I need to find a OHV cam follower with the cup to locate the pushrod. I would appreciate any help I can get
And I have available a side valve inlet cam follower!

I did look in my stuff but no spare followers. I'm sure i had a similar problem with my 9A, I used a ball end diamond burr and ground a recess as a temporary measure. Hmm 15 years ago, must find a replacement.
