My 1925 Model 6 obviously came new with beaded edge tyres, 26x2.5. However, when rebuilt I intend to fit wired-on tyres as used from 1927. I'm told that the size equivalent for the originals is 2.75x21, but all that I can find in that size are trials/trail tyres, such as Mitas. In appearance they maybe don't look that different to the block-tread Dunlop originals, but I've no idea if they would look or work right on a flat-tank Sunbeam. What do other people fit?
