Title: Burman BAP gearbox shell
Post by: csagreen@hotmail.com on September 05, 2024, 11:39:14 AM
Dear fellow members,
Would any of you have in your shed a spare shell for the BAP gearbox? Mine has somehow cracked and broken in half (disaster)! I know that there are many BAPs out there but for the 1937 Model 9, they need to have two extra lugs at the bottom where the chain adjuster attaches.

Regards,

Chris

Hi Chris, unfortunately I don't have a shell. But if you can't get one anywhere, welding may be a good alternative. I would ask at a local workshop. The rockerbox on my 1937 Model 9 was successfully welded at some point.
Cheers, Thomas
