Hi Daniel,

Yes, that would appear to be the case. I've now located the correct carb body and will rebuild the current parts around it. Thanks for your assistance, much appreciated.

Daniel

The float bowl belongs to the LH side of the carburetor.

Hi Jason, looking at lots of pictures I now think I have a pre-'38 barrel, which has the threaded hole rather than the flange, so will hunt down a clamp type carb.

Hi,

I have a 600 lion, mine has the flange right up against the engine, and the float bowl the other side to yours....

I will take a few pictures and post later this afternoon...i don't have any parts sorry. it looks as if the flange inboard on your has broken off hence the bolt and nut.

Morning All, 1938 Lion 600.
I'm after some help please. The carb on my Sunbeam is obviously wrong (see attached pics). Could anyone advise what the correct carb and inlet manifold/stub arrangement should be? and if you have the parts available that'd be even better! Many thanks in anticipation, Jules. (I've also posted this request on the Facebook page, so apologies for repeating myself)
