Does anyone know whether Sunbeams ever used a Binks Mousetrap carburettor? Or even the Rat Trap on the Sprint bikes.

Also, can anyone explain how the Mousetrap actually works? Is it largely controlled by the slide or the flap, with the other general left fully open except for starting? But which way around?
