Hi Thomas, perhaps worth saying that the actual thread size is 3/ 16 " Whitworth (or BSW). That means that the thread diameter is 3/ 16" (0.187").

Hi Paul, here is a pic of my screw. It is 20mm long, the head length is 4.5mm and its width is 7mm. Cheers, Thomas

Hi Thomas,
In 2016 Paul Hutton made a comprehensive table of Sunbeam casing screws, if you let me have your e-mail address I'll forward a copy to you.
Tony.

That would be great, Graham! These screws are quite difficult to get here in Germany and it would indeed help to know what it is.

Hi Thomas
They are a standard imperial size but with a fillister head as standard.  I will check on my bike for the size.

Hello! One of my screws for the primary chain case is broken. Any idea where I can get it? It is not in the club spares list. What thread does it have? Or should I directly ask Chris Odling to make one?
Cheers, Thomas
