Another good thing is that you can use it over and over again, no matter how dirty it gets. I'm using the same couple of liters for at least 4 years now without filtering anything out.  I use it very often and the lid is never on. I've tried many different liquids / spirits for cleaning and this is my number one. I love the stuff

Hi Thomas,

I use lamp oil as a cleaner for old hard oily greasy road filth stuff to wash off. I use this because it works very well, doesn't stink, hardly evaporates and is not or not too aggressive for most materials including my hands . Oh, and it's cheap as well. You can fill up the oil tank with it and let it sit for a couple of days. What doesn't come out needs brushing out with an old toothbrush or so and might need another couple of days in the lamp oil bath. Enjoy
