The regs said that there wasn't any need for helmets as it was a closed road parade, although the Clerk of the course asked me to put a pudding basin on for the second stint. Good job too, as it became a bit of a free for all ; there was a guy on a Manx Norton who said he just couldn't stay below 30mph without frying his clutch, so he overtook the pace car, and a few others followed. All good natured though the crowd didn't seem to mind !
There was a shortage of pre-war stuff, I'm sure they'd welcome anyone next year? Great day out, lots of food and drink choices all around the town, and all the other shops ( clothes, charity, books etc ) opened up to make the most of the influx of people. Lots of fabulous old cars including the 29litre 1912 Fiat ( the Beast of Turin )

Very nice to see the Club represented - perhaps a run to there next year? Love the hat!

Had a ride round Bromyard for the Speed Festival on Sunday, great fun it was too !
