Oil pump return

Hi all

My oil pump stops pumping oil to the tank after the engine revs up, but after a while, it goes back to normal
Is this normal for a Model 9 from 1936?
Don't know I shuld use this bike
Have bamburg run over the weekend hope is OK to run
